The Executive Team

Mick Crowe

Managing Director
Mick has extensive experience in the Australian Coal Sector and a proven track record for delivering sustainable business solutions that maximise outcomes for clients with high value assets in heavy industrial applications. As Managing Director of G&S, Mick is passionate and committed to its success and has been instrumental in leading G&S through its evolution to market leadership. In doing so, he has become a well-known and influential figure within the mining and resources industry in Queensland and nationally.

Peter Kennedy

General Manager, Major Projects
Peter joined G&S in 2000 having worked in senior management roles within the Construction and Manufacturing sector for over 35 years. Peter’s strong operational focus and his extensive knowledge of the Construction industry, helps position G&S as an ideal partner for our clients’ projects.

Mick Gamble

General Manager, QLD Resources & Industrials
Mick is one of the two original founding directors of G&S.  He left G&S in the early 2000’s and spent 15 years in multiple roles where he has been integral in dragline, shovel businesses and underground services. Mick has extensive industry experience and a depth of skills from contracting, OEM and client perspective which adds materially to the capability and strength of our team.

Michael Douglas

General Manager, Resources & Infrastructure WA
With 30 years’ experience in various management roles, Michael has achieved success in managing multi-disciplines projects in the Power Generation, Iron Ore, Water, Oil & Gas and Rail areas. He has led the growth of each business through smarter engineering, modular construction, and seamless multi-disciplines construction teams.  He has also led the charge in overseas fabrication and modular construction offshore, resulting establishing himself a leader in this field. Michael prides himself in people management and building project teams to deliver successful projects to his clients.
