We have extensive experience in Dragline manufacture and erection, having erected 17 Draglines, manufactured 20 Dragline bases in the Mackay workshop and erected over 20 Dragline bases onsite (either through new installations or replacements).
Our Mackay workshop is purpose-built for manufacturing dragline bases. The 3,300sqm workshop has 5x50 tonne cranes with 200-tonne lift capacity to a height of 10 metres.
It has a clear floor space of 25m x 25m (625sqm) at both ends of the workshop allowing for the simultaneous manufacture of two dragline bases leaving a large unimpeded floor area to allow sections to be manufactured and aligned ready for quicker site erection.
